This concept has been developed over several years, through the experience of running our own waste transfer station and skip hire business.
I came to the conclusion that using a conventional trommel with conveyors and feed belts, with no control over retaining the material, was not the most effective way to process waste.
The screening area of this barrel separation system is built from 16mm square bar. The drum has a two way rotating system, and a high capacity blower is positioned to the rear of the drum. This blows through retained lights and four heavy duty lifters continually place material in front of the blower.
The machine rotates 360°, and is operated by remote control with a two way hydraulic ram for discharge.
